A Love Letter to African Skin
Growing up in Nigeria our founder noticed that most premium skincare brands were designed for skin types and tones that did not reflect the diversity of
African beauty.
MODSUN was born from years of research into traditional African botanical
ingredients — turmeric from the North, shea butter from the Savannah, black soap from the Southwest — combined with modern cosmetic science to create formulas that work beautifully on melanin-rich skin.
Today every MODSUN product is still made in Nigeria, using locally sourced organic ingredients, and is crafted for every skin tone and type.

“I started MODSUN because I was tired of using ten different products and still not seeing the glow I wanted. Nature had the answers all along — I just needed to formulate them properly.”
With advanced studies in Cosmetic Formulation, Modupe spent 3 years perfecting MODSUN’s signature formulas before launching the brand in 2022. Today MODSUN serves customers across Nigeria and beyond, with every product still personally quality-checked by Modupe herself.
